Referees

Is your child interested in becoming a certified youth soccer referee?

Grade 8 Referee - Entry Level Training, now referred to as "New Referee Grass Roots Training", is OPEN for registration.

Grassroots Training registration for Session II opens 1/15/19 and runs through 3/31/19 with the required in-person sessions starting in mid-February and ending 4/7/19. You must complete the entire New Referee - Grassroots Training process, including the in-person session, by 4/7/19. Once the Grassroots Training Process is complete, certification is valid for the remainder of 2019. Additional information about the Connecticut State Referee Program can be found at www.ctreferee.net.

Please click here to learn about the Entry Level Referee Process. Candidates for Grade 8 Referee Entry Level Training must be 13 years old by December 31, 2018.

When a new Burlington referee finishes training and becomes certified, they will automatically get a new account in the assigning system with the same user ID & password that was used for registration. However, we ask that you still send us an email at info@bjsasoccer.com so that we can make sure you've been added to our referee pool!
